ED Daquioag missed University of Santo Tomas’ game against Adamson on Saturday due to fever, according to head coach Bong Dela Cruz.
Dela Cruz said he only learned about Daquiaog’s condition on Saturday morning. He, however, is not expected to miss any more games for the Tigers.
“May fever siya kaya hindi siya available,” said Dela Cruz during the postgame interview.
With Daquioag out, rookie Renzo Subido and Jamil Sheriff shared the minutes in the guard position. Sheriff had four points and eight rebounds in the 50-49 win over Adamson.
