PAUL Desiderio knows very well how grand University of the Philippines’ goal is this upcoming UAAP Season 81.

What better way for him to enter his final collegiate season than proving that he can win a title, helping Go for Gold cop the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup.

“Ang sarap, sarap, sarap,” the Cebuano guard shared after the Scratchers’ 102-92 Game Five conquest on Thursday.

“Papasok na yung UAAP kaya ang laking confidence-boost nito para sa akin at ang dami kong natutunan ngayon.”

Coming back to the Scratchers after the Fighting Maroons’ two-week training in Serbia, Desiderio was a game changer in the championship series, showing that he’s not only a lethal scorer, but also a dependable all-around cog, averaging 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the title clash.

And he’s happy to churn out solid numbers when the lights are at their brightest.

“Yung maturity as a player, nakukuha mo sa paglalaro ng do-or-die games. Masaya ako na na-experience ko yung ganito dahil gigil talaga akong makuha yung championship,” he said.
