DAMAGE caused by typhoon 'Glenda' to the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday was placed at P20 million by an official, but it will in no way affect events scheduled in the state-of-the-art stadium over the next few days.
Spin.ph reported on Wednesday that the famous eye-shaped facade of the MOA suffered considerable damage as 'Glenda,' packing winds of 120 kph, wrecked havoc on Metro Manila and nearby areas.
An official also confirmed that the favorite venue for sports and entertainment events also suffered considerable damages in other areas, particularly near the Coral entrance and a big screen at the front.
However, the damages are all in the exterior and will not affect events lined up at the venue, including an awards ceremonies set to be staged on Friday.
