CJ Cansino has parted ways with University of Santo Tomas.
Sources bared the UAAP Season 80 Juniors MVP - once tagged as a future cornerstone of the Tigers team - will no longer be playing in Espana after the two parties deciding to "move forward."
Team insiders continued that it was Cansino's decision to leave UST after two impressive seasons in the seniors division, saying he has decided to move to another school.
The 20-year-old court general has been given the leadership role for a young UST side last UAAP Season 82 as he posted 5.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in the Growling Tigers' drive to the Finals.

It was his comeback year after tearing his left ACL in his rookie season, where he immediately made his presence felt with averages of 12.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
Spin.ph sought UST coach Aldin Ayo for comments, but he politely declined from issuing any statements for the time being.
Ayo, however, made no effort to deny the story on Cansino's shock departure.
The future nonetheless remains bright for the 6-foot-2 Cansino, who still has two years remaining in his collegiate career.
The Growling Tigers, meanwhile, remain formidable despite the turn of events, with last season's MVP Soulemane Chabi Yo, Rookie of the Year Mark Nonoy, and Rhenz Abando still in the lineup.
Tiebreaker Times was the first to report on the development.
