HE may no longer be with University of Santo Tomas, but CJ Cansino swore he won't throw any of his former teammates under the bus.

The 20-year-old said on Wednesday said he got the approval of his former teammates before posting of screenshots of the Growling Tigers' group chat with their parents and guardians in relation to the conditions in their training in Sorsogon.

"Oo," Cansino answered when Spin.ph asked if he got the blessing of his teammates before he leaked those messages on social media on Wednesday.

The leaked screenshots saw players like Cansino, Brent Paraiso, Rhenz Abando, and UAAP Season 82 MVP Soulemane Chabi Yo expressing their grumblings in Sorsogon over anything from meals to boredom.

There were also players who complained of being denied medical treatment for illnesses while others complained about homesickness and stress which comes with being away from family for the better part of the past two months.

Cansino's post drew mixed emotions as some Twitter users cried foul, raising a possible violation of the Data Privacy Act.

Cansino, who after being kicked out of the UST team found a new home at University of the Philippines, did take down his posts upon the request of a teammate. But he insisted he didn't betray any of his teammates' confidence.
