BRIGHT Akhuetie showed up during practice of La Salle on Wednesday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, fueling speculations of a move to the Green Archers camp.
The former Perpetual Help standout was in street clothes in the sidelines as the Green Archers started their preparations for the UAAP Season 79 finals against Ateneo.
Akhuetie was mum when asked about his presence even as photographers were barred from taking photos of the Cameroonian sensation inside the Big Dome.

On Tuesday, Akhuetie himself told SPIN.ph that La Salle has expressed interest in securing his services, crowding longtime rival Ateneo and University of the Philippines in the race to sign the Nigerian player.
Akhuetie could come in handy for La Salle since the Green Archers’ own Cameroonian center, Ben Mbala, is said to have just a year remaining in his college career.
If he moves from the Altas camp to La Salle, Akhuetie will have to spend one year of residency before becoming eligible to play for the team in the UAAP.
