BRENT Paraiso is in high spirits as he sees action with University of Santo Tomas after 15 years with La Salle.
Paraiso played high school ball with De La Salle Zobel and two seasons with the DLSU Green Archers.
Paraiso left the Archers early this year along with Ricci and Prince Rivero.
“After 15 loyal years of being in Green and White, out ultimate coach prepared a sudden master game plan. He healed my heart to leave the pain behind and move forward,” Paraiso wrote on Twitter on Sunday, a week after playing his first game with the Growling Tigers in the UCBL Summer Tournament.
“God is leading me to Espana from where I will pick myself up and stand proud. From here on out, I’m ready to roar,” said Paraiso.
Paraiso reunited with Aldin Ayo, his coach who recruited him from De La Salle Zobel to the La Salle seniors team alongside with Aljun Melecio.
Paraiso had 17 points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in his debut with the Growling Tigers in the UCBL Summer Tournament.
