BRENT Paraiso has dropped out of University of Santo Tomas in the wake of the controversy over the Tigers' Bicol bubble.
Sources confirmed to SPIN.ph the decision of the 6-foot-2 guard to leave Espana after playing just one season for the black-and-gold.
No final decision has been made on where he is headed, a source added.
Paraiso averaged 7.2 points on 32-percent shooting from deep, to go with 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists last UAAP Season 82 as a key rotation piece in the Growling Tigers' run to the finals.

Before coming to UST, the La Salle-Zobel standout spent two years at La Salle, winning the UAAP Season 79 championship with the Jeron Teng and Ben Mbala-led Green Archers under coach Aldin Ayo.
Paraiso was one of the first players to leave Sorsogon, joining Cansino and Bismarck Lina on their trip back to Manila last week which seemingly blew the lid on the offseason training in Capuy, Sorsogon.
Paraiso is the second UST player to leave the Tigers after Cansino, who claimed he was kicked out of the team by Ayo after a 'disagreement' in the team's training in Capuy, Sorsogon.
Another key member of the team, Rhenz Abando, is also close to finalizing a transfer to Letran, another source said.
The future remains unclear for the 22-year-old Paraiso, although he has no more playing years left if he transfers to another UAAP school. He can have one more year left, though, if he decides to move to the NCAA.
