UNIVERSITY of the Philippines team manager Dan Palami bared that they have indeed recommended Bo Perasol to take over the men's basketball team but he pointed out that the final decision, which could come soon, remains with the school's chancellor.
Palami noted that UP remains officially without a head coach but has already recommended Perasol to take over the post left by Rensy Bajar.
"Coach Bo was one of the recommended coaches on the list," said Palami during a press conference on Thursday announcing UP's partnership with Chooks-to-Go.
Palami, however, said the final say remains with the school, which is expected to come up with a decision soon.
"We are in the process of selecting a head coach for the UP Fighting Maroons. We will know next week or in the next few days," said Palami.
