Ateneo Eaglets team captain Joaquin Jaymalin commits to Adamson

Falcons' rebuilding gets a boost with commitment from Blue Eaglets forward

ADAMSON has locked up Ateneo forward Joaquin Jaymalin for the next UAAP wars.

Team insiders bared that the 6-foot-1 forward has made his commitment to play for the San Marcelino side as he starts his collegiate career.

Coach Franz Pumaren also confirmed the development to Spin.ph, saying Jaymalin will suit up for the Soaring Falcons in the upcoming UAAP Season 83.

Jaymalin averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 21 minutes of action last UAAP Season 82, where the Blue Eaglets finished in third place.

The 18-year-old hardworker is a welcome entry to the Adamson camp, adding another dose of young blood to a youthful side bannered by Jerrick Ahanmisi and also features young guns Joem Sabandal and AP Manlapaz.

Adamson has earlier secured the commitments of 6-foot-2 guard Jhon Calisay and 6-foot-5 winger RV Yanes, both from Technological Institute of the Philippines.
