SOMEONE'S obviously so unhappy with the way things are going for University of Santo Tomas' basketball team that he has taken out his frustrations on Tigers' head coach Boy Sablan.
An online search recently made by SPIN.ph has led it to a Wikipedia page dedicated to the UST Growling Tigers and the basketball team's performance in the UAAP over the years.
Everything appeared in order, except for the name of the current UST coach which was listed as Rodil 'Boy' Sablay instead of Sablan.
A succeeding entry about UST's record in its first season under Sablan, which incidentally was the school's worst since the UAAP adopted the Final Four format in 1993, also had the coach listed as 'Boy Sablay.'
Unprotected Wikipedia pages are open to editing by readers, so wrong entries such as this are not uncommon.
A check done by SPIN.ph showed the UST Growling Tigers' page was last edited on Dec. 5, 2016. But apparently, no one has bothered to correct the error on Sablan's name.
Sablan has come under fire from fans this season as the Tigers remained winless through nine games - and five away from the first zero-win season in the UAAP in four years.
