THE Ateneo Blue Eagles retained their UAAP men's basketball title, defeating the UP Fighting Maroons in UAAP Season 81.
Although the games were competitive, teams and supporters have always had mutual respect for each other. And apart from some fan who hinted on unsportsmanlike conduct, the mood this season was generally encouraging.
Regardless of the lack of animosity between the two teams, the diehard supporters from both camps still felt the highs and lows of the outcome and took to social media to express themselves.
