MASON Amos has repeatedly stressed that he has moved on two years after his controversial move from Ateneo to La Salle.

And as he braces for his first go-round against his old alma mater, the 6-foot-7 big really isn't too focused on the chatter, knowing that at the end of the day, it's green vs. blue.

"It's just another game for me, really," he said. "Rivalries are that, but this is more than me. It's La Salle against Ateneo."

The Green Archers take on the Blue Eagles on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena at 5 p.m. in a game which could very well determine realities in the earlygoings of the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament.

For La Salle, it's a chance to show that it's still the favorite in this wild and wooly season so far, with Mike Phillips being the head of the attack for the Taft side which sports a 2-1 card.

Meanwhile, Ateneo is coming in red-hot, now the lone undefeated team in the league at 3-0, as a win would very much show the legitimacy of how dangerous this team is behind one-and-dones Kymani Ladi, Dom Escobar, and Jaden Lazo.

But as Blue Eagles coach Tab Baldwin put it: "It's a rivalry game for a reason."

"Players know the history between the two sides and I expect nothing less from our guys and the same from (La Salle coach) Topex [Robinson]'s side as well," he said.

Adamson, FEU contest much-welcome bounce-back win

Adamson (1-2) and Far Eastern University (0-3) raise the curtains at 2 p.m., with both sides looking to bounce back.

The Soaring Falcons were at the wrong end of a 77-58 loss to Ateneo last week, and the boys of coach Nash Racela are just raring to recapture their touch after an atrocious offensive showing in the fourth quarter of that game.

On the other hand, coach Sean Chambers and the Tamaraws want to finally pull one through after tasting a slim 74-72 defeat to La Salle last Wednesday.
