DUE to inclement weather brought by Typhoon Ompong, the UAAP has decided to postpone its games slated this Saturday.
UAAP president Nilo Ocampo of hosts National University made the announcement and will instead reschedule all the games affected by the cancellation on a later date.
"After due consultation and considering what appears to be a severe weather disturbance, the UAAP deems it best for everyone's interests to cancel the basketball games tomorrow Saturday, September 15, 2018," he said in a statement.
Ateneo was supposed to meet FEU in the 2 p.m. game while Adamson and La Salle were set to clash at 4 p.m. at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Also affected are the women's games slated earlier in the day.
The UAAP has earlier postponed its chess tournaments which were originally scheduled to be held at UST this weekend.
