A FEMALE spectator collapsed during the UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball tournament game between Ateneo and National University on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Witnesses said Ateneo supporter Maria Victoria Silva suddenly passed out in her seat at the patron section of the Ateneo side of the gallery during the second quarter of the Blue Eagles-Bulldogs match.
Silva is the mother of Ateneo Blue Eaglets assistant coach Joe Silva.
Doctors later said Silva was already in stable condition when she was rushed to the St. Luke’s Hospital at the Bonifacio Global City.
