Mike Nieto finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Eaglets, who advanced to the finals outright with a thrice-to-beat advantage.
Adamson and De La Salle-Zobel, meanwhile, clinched berths in the stepladder phase.
The Baby Falcons beat University of Santo Tomas, 76-67, to complete their revival after winning only one game last season, while the Junior Archers defeated Far Eastern University-Diliman, 59-55, to claim the last seat in the next round.
Adamson, NU, and De La Salle-Zobel ended up with similar 9-5 win-loss records at the end of the eliminations.
The Baby Falcons and Bullpups will battle in a playoff for the No. 2 seed in the stepladder phase due to superior quotients with the Junior Archers settling for the fourth seeding.
The Adamson-NU playoff will be played on Tuesday at the Blue Eagle Gym.
In the stepladder phase, the No. 3 and No. 4 teams play a knockout game for the right to face the No. 2 seed, which will have a twice-to-beat advantage.
In the other game, University of the Philippines Integrated School beat University of the East, 93-65.
