FIL-American guard Ashon Andrews is moving from University of the Philippines to the University of Sto Tomas.
After a season of limited playing time with the Maroons, the 6-foot-4 guard from Washington bid the Maroons farewell.

"I want to give a big thanks to the UP community for being so kind, caring and supportive this past year and I want to give a even bigger thanks to Coach gold, Tito Pato and Coach Bo for giving me the opportunity to play at one of the highest level of basketball in the Philippines," Andrews said.
"With that being said I would like to announce that I’m will not be playing for UP Season 86 … I have come to the decision of continuing my collegiate career at UST," he added.
Andrews will spend a year in residency before suiting up for the Growling Tigers in Season 87.
