ARVIN Tolentino has been suspended for one UAAP game after his ejection from Far Eastern University's match against Adamson last Saturday.
Based on a report by UAAP basketball commissioner Rebo Saguisag to league officials, Tolentino was meted the one-game ban after being assessed with a second unsportsmanlike foul at the 7:20-mark of a game the Tamaraws went on to lose.
The league ban will keep Tolentino out of the FEU lineup for its rematch against defending champion and first-round tormentor La Salle on Wednesday.
The former San Beda juniors star is averaging 11 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Tamaraws this season and has converted a team-best 13 three-pointers in the first round.
Tolentino appeared to have elbowed Adamson's Tyrus Hill when he was slapped a first unsportsmanlike foul and was ejected for kicking Dawn Ochea as the Falcon was sprawled on the floor.
In all, the Tamaraws were slapped four unsportsmanlike fouls in the game.
