LA Salle named Anton Altamirano as coach of the Green Archers' Team B, according to a reliable source.
Altamirano, who last played for College of Saint Benilde in the NCAA, is one of the emerging young coaches in Metro Manila having been part of the coaching staff of National University and Arellano.
The son of former NU coach Eric Altamirano was also an assistant coach of Racal in the PBA D-League.
Altamirano was also part of a staff that handled the preparations of Philippine teams in 3x3 competitions.
With the impending hiring, Altamirano is set to spearhead La Salle's Team B squad composed of players vying for spots in the UAAP lineup of the Green Archers next season. Altamirano is set to lead his wards who will be fielded in minor tournaments.
