ANTIPOLO — So devastating was La Salle's back-to-back defeats to University of the East and Far Eastern University over the past week that the Archers needed a reassessment.

And the one to spur that was no less than team captain Andrei Caracut.

"Nakita ko after ng UE at FEU games namin, may pressure talaga sa amin," he said.

Caracut, however, reminded his side that at the end of the day, it is them who put on the work.

"Kaya sabi ko, forget the outside noise.

On Saturday, a rejuvenated La Salle side defeated Adamson, 68-61, much to the delight of the senior guard.

Caracut who delivered the back-to-back baskets that secured the victory for La Salle in the final minute to cap off his 15-point performance.

"Yung fourth quarter kasi, tatlong three points yung hindi ko talaga napasok eh. Kaya sabi ko kung i-try ko kaya yung off-the-dribble, so pumasok naman," said the 6-foot-1 court general after missing his first four tries from deep.

With the Green Archers finally back in their mojo, Caracut hopes that his side can continue this groove, especially with a duel against University of the Philippines set on Wednesday.

"Alam mo naman malakas talaga UP.
