ANDREI Caracut is looking forward to teaming up once again with Jollo Go, this time with the De La Salle Green Archers after their time together with the national youth team.

Caracut and Go suited up for Batang Gilas in the Fiba Under-17 World Championship last year in Dubai.

Siya rin ’yung ka-close ko doon,” said the 5-foot-10 Caracut after La Salle played a tune-up game with a Korean college team at The Arena in San Juan.

Caracut played with the Green Archers for the first time, teaming up with Jeron Teng, Jason Perkins, and Ben Mbala against a Korean college team. He wore a green La Salle jersey, but without a number.

Go was unable to join the tune-up game as he has yet to return after attending the NBA All-Star Weekend Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in New York City.

The 18-year-old playmaker couldn’t hide his excitement playing for the Green Archers, but at the same time he admitted it was tough playing against a much-taller squad.

The young played tried to play down expectations, saying he is still a work in progress despite his credentials as he tries to break into the La Salle lineup.

Kailangang paghandaan,” said Caracut, who averaged 14.7 points last season with the Red Cubs before winning the Finals MVP award.
