"This is what I prepared and worked hard for the whole year, and now it’s suddenly gone just like that," an emotional Baclaan wrote on Facebook.

"I just want to say that I’m out for the entire season, and this isn’t what I wanted or expected to happen. I cried so much last night and felt really down about my situation, but I just kept thinking about my future for my family and my career."

Amos, in support of his peer, posted on his Instagram story, "I'm praying for you brother."

It's a tough development for the Green Archers who sit with an even 3-3 win-loss record in their title reclamation bid this season.

Amos first went down last Sunday when National U's Gelo Santiago inadvertently collided with his knee at the 7:03 mark of the fourth quarter in the green-and-white's 82-78 loss.

Before the injury, he posted 8.2 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds through five games.

Baclaan unfortunately followed suit on Wednesday when University of the East wing Wello Lingolingo accidentally landed on his leg during a mad scramble for the ball at the 4:20 mark of the fourth quarter in La Salle's 111-110 overtime win.

He was averaging 10.2 points on 34-percent field goal shooting, alongside 4.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 21 minutes of play in five games.

Curiously, both were playing their first seasons with the Green Archers after transferring, Amos from Ateneo and Baclaan from NU.

Now, they have to undergo the same recovery while dealing with the same injury on the same knee.
