Arguably the greatest shooter in Philippine basketball, he would definitely a big boost for the staff of coach Chris Gavina, as he joins fellow Recto alumni Nino Canaleta and Paulo Hubalde.
Questions in terms of players for UE
However, there are more pressing matters that the Red Warriors need to fix - most evidently, the need to keep their players, while also restocking their roster.
Just this past offseason, UE lost Precious Momowei and Nico Mulingtapang, with the two opting to transfer following a winless campaign in Season 88.
It follows an alarming trend that saw its top players, namely Rey Remogat, Kyle Paranada, and Gani Stevens, among others, depart for other rival schools.
The challenge of also getting back to its winning ways is also everpresent, with UE losing 21 straight games dating back to Season 87.

For now, Wello Lingolingo remains in red-and-white, as they also try to build on the standout performances of young guns Tope Lagat, DJ Robles, and Drew Jimenez.
