ALFRED Aroga will graduate later this month with a degree in sports management from National University, but the Cameroonian center intends to continue studying even as his playing career with the Bulldogs is done.

Aroga’s graduation is set on November 28, but he plans to stay in school by taking up a masters degree as he intends to become a motivational speaker someday.

“You can’t play basketball your whole life so I will take a masters degree in sports psychology or a PhD,” said Aroga.

Aroga said he has been always been acting as a motivator for the Bulldogs, which is why he plans to use it for the future.

“It’s just in my DNA. I don’t need to have any effort to motivate,” said Aroga. “I don’t think about me. What I learn is you need to help your surroundings.”

Aroga was a vital piece not just with his statistics but with his vocal leadership on the floor in the Bulldogs’ run to their 2014 UAAP title.

“I’m going to use that with all the things I went through. When you bury your dad and his legacy, I can’t just give up. It’s just in my DNA [not to give up],” said Aroga.
