EXCEPT for a vague statement released last weekend, the camp of University of Santo Tomas head coach Aldin Ayo has kept silent as the issue on the team's alleged bubble training in his home in Sorsogon threatens to blow up in his face.
But not for long.
Based on posts shared on the Instagram account of Ayo's wife Mina Joy, the controversial Tigers coach appeared ready to refute all the allegations thrown his way in relation to the bubble training 'in due time.'
UST officials have concluded an internal investigation on the issue, which started with former team captain CJ Cansino being kicked out of the team and soon left the school facing sanctions for violating health protocols during the pandemic.

Evidence against Ayo and those responsible for the bubble are also mounting by the day.
There are copies of the waivers that the players' parents and legal guardians were made to sign prior to the trip to Bicol; screenshots of a group chat of the players and parents which detailed grumblings over their living conditions in the bubble; and, on Friday, an Inquirer report claiming part of the P3 million budget earmarked for the training by the team managers was used to upgrade a gym reportedly owned by Ayo.
Amid the revelations, the Ayos are digging in for a fight.
On Friday afternoon, a series of posts in Mrs. Ayo's Instagram stories reposted a SPIN.ph article regarding Tigers’ forward Ira Bataller’s health condition during the bubble and refuted the players' claim that his abdominal illness was ignored by coaches.
Underlining the words ‘UST coaches ignored his illness” in the story, the account added the words “Be ready” to her first post. Then highlighted a few details written in the article, on her following post.
The account also posted what appears as a photo of the clinical results of Bataller’s checkup at Sorsogon Medical Mission Group Hospital and Health Services Cooperative.
The account also zeroed in on Cansino's statement that he got his former teammates' permission to share the contents of their group chat.
"Bakit mo dinelete? ‘Di ba may permission to post ka sa teammates mo? Very soon na ‘yung evidences with all your accusations and investigations,” she said.
The account later vowed that all the players' accusations will be answered at the end of the investigation into the incident.
“Patapusin lng naten investigation. Sasagutin ko lahat ng accusations niyo, of course with bebe girl. Just be ready,” the account posted.
