ADAMSON continued to reload for the future as it secured the commitment of Fil-Am guard Adrian Punzalan.
Soaring Falcons coach Franz Pumaren confirmed to Spin.ph the acquisition of the 6-foot playmaker on Wednesday as he continued to beef up his backcourt.
"Of course, the potential is there. You can say na physically for his position he can help us. Ang haba ng reach niya and he's tailor fit in our system," he said.
Punzalan, 20, is a native of Hoffman Estates, Illinois and spent two years for Division III Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.
He posted 10.8 points and 3.0 rebounds for the Hawks in that rookie season back in 2018-19 before sitting out last year.
"Right now, he's training in Chicago and one thing nice with him is he likes the Adamson program and he sees joining us as an investment for him," said Pumaren.
He will have to redshirt anew this year before being cleared to play come UAAP Season 84. He still has four years of eligibility remaining.
Punzalan is the latest face to join Adamson after Joaquin Jaymalin of Ateneo, Jhon Calisay and RV Yanes from Technological Institute of the Philippines, and Fil-Italian Roger Syvels delos Reyes.
