Adamson and UST ended the eliminations with identical 6-8 win-loss records.

The Lady Falcons made it to the Final Four for the first time since 2013, their first year under head coach Mike Fermin. Adamson advanced at the time, but only because Far Eastern University forfeited victories due to an ineligible player.

“They are hungry to win,” said Fermin. “They want to prove something that they belong to the Final Four.”

With National University getting an outright berth in the finals after sweeping the regular season, Adamson takes on University of the East in a knockout game to start off the stepladder. The winner takes on La Salle, which owns a twice-to-beat advantage.
