AFTER a 'brutal' week to end the first round, Adamson coach Franz Pumaren is hoping that their schedule gets lighter in the second round.

The end to their first round saw the Falcons play three straight playdates, which fortunately all resulted in wins for the league's hottest team outside the unbeaten Ateneo.

The Falcons finished the first round with a four-game winning streak on Saturday in blowout fashion when they beat Far Eastern University, 95-79.

Pumaren now hopes the Falcons won't plunge into action on Wednesday, the start of the second round.

"I just hope that it's not going to be on a Wednesday because like what I mentioned, it was a brutal week for us," said Pumaren.

The Adamson coach added: "Kung Wednesday kami maglaro, eh di paglaruin nyo na rin kami Thursday and Friday."

Pumaren is also hoping for a favorable schedule as the players will also have their final exams soon.

"Hopefully, it can give us a chance to recover physically and mentally because they are also having their final exams. I take pride in making sure that they do well in school," Pumaren said.
