ADAMSON looks to keep its flickering hopes for twice-to-beat advantage in the UAAP Season 80 Final Four alive as the Falcons begin the final stretch of the elimination round against National University on Sunday.

The match is set at 4 p.m.

The Falcons own a 7-4 win-loss slate, but are now two games back of La Salle for second place with three games left in the elimination round.

Adamson coach Franz Pumaren admitted it will now be a tough task for the Falcons to claim the twice-to-beat incentive following their loss to La Salle.

“At this stage in time, the destiny is not in our hands,” said Pumaren. “For us to be able to catch them for the second spot, we will have to look at a lot of scenarios.”

At this point of the season, Pumaren noted the importance of finishing the elimination round strong.

“What’s important is we do our own business. We have to do the best of what we can do in the next games. Then, so be it. Anyway, we are ready for these kind of scenarios. We are ready with these kinds of situations. We’ll see in probably the next five or six playing dates,” said Pumaren.
