    Serrano shows way anew as Adamson stays unbeaten, deal Ateneo Blue Eaglets third straight loss

    ADAMSON collected another victory against a pre-tournament favorite in the UAAP Season 79 juniors basketball tournament, beating Ateneo, 77-65, on Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

    Encho Serrano had 23 points, seven rebounds, and two steals for the Baby Falcons, who picked up their fourth win in as many games.

    Gerry Austin Abadiano had 13 points and Reygan Santos added 12 for the Baby Falcons, who earlier beat defending champion National University, Far Eastern University and University of the Philippines.

    SJ Belangel had 14 points, while Dave Ildefonso added 13 for the Blue Eaglets, who suffered their third straight loss after starting the tournament with a win.

    FEU defeated University of the East, 100-82, to improve its record to 3-1.

    Xyrus Torres had 23 points while Daniel Celzo added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Baby Tamaraws in scoring their second straight win.

    However, it was a tight contest with FEU only pulling away in the fourth quarter after outscoring UE, 26-12.

    The Junior Warriors slumped to 1-3.
