L-JAY Gonzales took his all-around performance to the next level in Far Eastern University's rout of University of the East.
The sophomore playmaker had a solid stat line with 14 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals
His Tamaraws teammates felt Gonzales could have recorded a triple-double, but the 20-year-old Gonzales insisted that he won't lose sleep over it since FEU got the win.
Gonzales is focusin on being a court general, saying he truly loves sharing the rock with his fellow Tamaraws.
Making the performance more impressive is that Gonzales is dealing with a nagging Achilles injury.
"Sumasakit nga eh. Tinanong ni coach Olsen kung masakit o kaya ko, pero ok naman," he shared, braving through the pains to help deliver FEU its first win in the UAAP Season 82 men's basketball tournament.
