AARON Black will not see action for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in Season 77 of the UAAP.
The son of Talk 'N Text coach Norman Black will not be included in the 16-man line-up of the Blue Eagles for this season, sources told Spin.ph.
The former Blue Eaglet, however, will remain with the team and will concentrate on his role as one of the three team captains of the Philippine team in the Fiba-Asia Under-18 championship set August 19 to 28 in Doha.
Black averaged 9.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game during his final stint with the Blue Eaglets last season.
But sources earlier told Spin.ph Black is willing to sit out for one year and wait for his chance due to the loaded line-up of the Blue Eagles for Season 77 after the recruitment of several high school standouts led by Arvin Tolentino and Thirdy Ravena.
