ALYSSA Solomon isn't going anywhere just yet - and so will her younger brother remain in National U.
Just like the reigning best opposite spiker in UAAP women's volleyball, Jedric Solomon will be promoted from Bullpup to Bulldog, as he joins the blue-and-gold's seniors squad, readily eligible come Season 88.

The 6-foot-8 big was a key contributor in NU-Nazareth School's three straight playoff appearances in the boys' basketball tournaments. The most recent season saw him posting per game counts of 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10 minutes.
His most productive campaign, however, had him averaging 2.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 14 minutes back in Season 85, showing much promise as a rim protector and glass cleaner.
With the Bulldogs, he will reconnect with fellow Bullpup Migs Palanca, as well as stalwart bigs PJ Palacielo and Kenshin Padrones. They will all form an imposing frontline that will be out to ensure that size will matter, regardless of who suits us as their foreign student-athlete.

Also moving up is pesky guard Jid Locsin, who normed an all-around 6.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.6 steals in 19 minutes last season. He will be a ready-made backup for the likes of Steve Nash Enriquez, Reinhard Jumamoy, and Tebol Garcia.

As for NUNS' top two players in Collins Akowe and Mac Alfanta, team sources stated staying put is also a probability, but a final decision is yet to be made.
