NU-NAZARETH School is set to lodge an appeal to the UAAP regarding the venue assignment of its finals face-off with University of Santo Tomas in the Season 87 boys' basketball tournament.
In a document obtained by SPIN.ph, the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion is listed as the site of Game Two of the best-of-three series, scheduled on March 16, with the girls playing at 10 a.m., followed by the boys at 12 p.m.
“Parang ang unfair na may homecourt advantage, lalo pa sa Finals,” said a source from the Bullpups camp.

Curiously, UST also serves as the sub-host for the high school basketball tournaments.
NUNS and UST will duel each other in both the boys' and girls' basketball title series, furthering the rivalry between the two schools.
NUNS vs. UST, for ALL the glory
In the boys’ tournament, the Bullpups finished with a 13-1 record at the end of the eliminations, with the Tiger Cubs (12-2) inflicting their lone defeat, a 76-56 victory last Thursday.

Game One of the finals will be on Thursday at Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan, with the girls’ championship series opening the curtain at 10 a.m., and the boys’ titular showdown tipping off at 12 p.m.
Espana hosting a UAAP game isn't new, as the black-and-gold did enjoy a bit of a homecourt advantage last Oct. 19 when the QPav was the venue of both men’s and women’s divisions.
