    NU Bullpups rout lowly UE Junior Warriors to gain twice-to-beat advantage in Final Four

    NATIONAL University clinched a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals, beating University of the East, 83-64, on Sunday in the UAAP Season 80 juniors basketball at the Blue Eagle Gym.

    Rhayyan Amsali had 13 points and 11 rebounds as the Bullpups improved to 10-2 to secure second spot and a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.

    RJ Minerva also had 10 points in the wire-to-wire win

    Shane Dichoso had 27 points, while Andrei Dulalia added 13 points and 11 rebounds for UE, which slid to 1-10.

    UE’s lone victory was actually a forfeiture over NU in the first round after the UAAP declared one of the Bullpups who suited up for the match was ineligible to play this season.
