KIEFFER Alas is setting his sights on a return with De La Salle-Zobel in the UAAP Season 87 in 2025 as he plays his first competitive league since sustaining a sprained ACL injury last June or before the FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup.

Alas said he has already recovered from the injury that he got during a tune-up game just days prior to the opening of the U-17 World Cup.

Alas, the top star of the national team after finishing in the Mythical Five of the FIBA Asia Under-16 Championship in 2023, missed the entire tournament, with Gilas Youth finishing last place out of 16 teams in the tournament.
