KAI Sotto had 24 points, 12 rebounds, and seven blocks as Ateneo defeated Adamson, 82-64, on Saturday in the opener of the UAAP Season 79 juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
SJ Belangel added 22 points, while Dave Ildefonso finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Eaglets, who led by as many as 34 points.
Sotto scored 10 in the second period as the Blue Eaglets took a 50-34 lead at the half.
Jose Sabandal had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Baby Falcons.
