FAR Eastern University nipped Adamson, 72-71, on Saturday in the UAAP Season 80 juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Daniel Celzo had 17 points and nine rebounds, while RJ Abarrientos added 16 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals for the Baby Tamaraws, who climbed to 6-5.
FEU, which also got 15 points and nine rebounds from L-Jay Gonzales, was coming off a close defeat against Ateneo last week.
Joem Sabandal had 22 points and five assists for the Baby Falcons, who slipped to fifth place in what is becoming a tough battle for Final Four berths with three games remaining in the eliminations.
