NATIONAL U continues to stockpile for the future, securing the commitment of Gab delos Reyes.
The 6-foot-4 forward was the Finals MVP in the UAAP Season 87 junior high school tournament, leading University of the East to the 16U crown.
However, delos Reyes struggled in his move to the 19U division, where he only netted 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10 minutes of play for the Jr. Warriors.
Still, coach Jeff Napa has high hopes for the Calaca, Batangas native.
"Nakita natin yung kayang gawin ni Gab and ready naman tayo mag-invest sa future ng bata," he said of the onetime Gilas Pilipinas Youth stud.
Delos Reyes will undergo residency before playing his lone year for the Bullpups in UAAP Season 90.
