ATENEO completed the semifinal cast in the UAAP Season 79 juniors basketball after beating De La Salle-Zobel, 69-53, on Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

SJ Belangel topscored for Ateneo with 19 points, while Dave Ildefonso added 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Eaglets, who also got nine points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks from rookie Kai Sotto.
Far Eastern University-Diliman defeated University of the Philippines Integrated School, 99-75, to get back on the winning track.
The Baby Tamaraws improved to 9-3 for third place as they bounced back after a loss to University of Santo Tomas.
