ALLAN Albano has been re-appointed as head coach of Far Eastern University-Diliman.
The school made the announcement on Wednesday, welcoming back the multi-titled mentor to the Baby Tamaraws' sideline.
"Flattered ako. Nung nag-message si sir Mark na pinapabalik ako, masayang masaya na ako," he told SPIN.ph, referring to FEU athletic director Mark Molina.

Earlier in the year, the jolly coach was brought back as an assistant to program director Mike Reyes for the juniors team which eventually won the UAAP Season 88 boys' basketball tournament behind Cabs Cabonilas and Marc Burgos.
It marked his comeback after leaving the green-and-gold in early 2025 then serving as assistant to the seniors teams in Adamson under coach Nash Racela and Perpetual with coach Olsen Racela.
Allan the man
Albano first assumed the post in 2015, immediately guiding FEU-Diliman to the Final Four before winning the Season 79 juniors crown the following year on the backs of L-Jay Gonzales, Kenji Roman, Jack Gloria, and RJ Abarrientos.
He guided the Baby Tams to the mountaintop anew in Season 85 in 2023, this time behind Finals MVP Kirby Mongcopa, Janrey Pasaol, Jedric Daa, and Veejay Pre.

Aside from his high school exploits, Albano once also assumed the same post for the Lady Tamaraws, most notably in 2012 when FEU went on a perfect 16-0 run thanks to Allana Lim and Soc Borja to claim the Season 75 title.
