ADAMSON picked up its first win in the Season 79 juniors basketball tournament, a day after news came out that all its previous games were forfeited by the UAAP board due to an eligibility issue.

Gerry Abadiano had 27 points and five rebounds in the Baby Falcons' 92-58 win over University of Santo Tomas which star guard Encho Serrano sat out.

Hours earlier, news came out that the UAAP board has forfeited the Baby Falcons' first 11 wins of the season due to issues concerning Serrano's eligibility.

The UAAP board has yet to issue a statement on the issue.

Serrano was in street clothes and sat at the back of the Adamson bench as the Baby Falcons raced to a 29-15 lead in the first quarter, never to look back.

Inand Fornillos and Miguel Ratuiste had 10 points and eight rebounds each for the Tiger Cubs, who fell to 5-8 but are in fourth place and in contention for a Final Four berth following the forfeiture of Adamson's wins.
