Toby Agustin leads way as JRU downs UE to stay unscathed in PCABL

TOBY Agustin had 33 points and 13 rebounds as Jose Rizal University beat University of the East, 81-77, on Tuesday in the Pilipinas Chinese Association Basketball League-Smart 8th Freego Cup at the Philippine Buddhacare Academy Gym.

The Light Bombers remained unbeaten after four games in Group B. Agustin was named Freego Best Player of the game.

Also staying unscathed are are National University and Mapua-Malayan.

Carl Penano had 16 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks as the Bullpups (3-0) beat University of Santo Tomas, 81-73.

Sherwin Concepcion had 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks as the Red Robins (4-0) downed Lyceum, 62-59.
