TIKAS Kapampangan evened the 2025 NBL-Pilipinas Governors’ Cup title series with a 122-118 double overtime win over Taguig Generals, 122-118, in Game 2 on Thursday at the FEU Pampanga gym in San Fernando.
Genmar Bragais had 41 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals for Tikas in tying the best-of-five series at 1-1.
The series moves to the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig City for Game 3 on Monday with Tikas and the Generals looking for the lead in the championship series.
Renniel Gomez added 13 points, while Jerico Isidro had 12 points, 14 rebounds, five steals, and two blocks for Tikas Kapampangan. CJ Gania also buried a free throw to send the game into double overtime before the home squad took control.
The Generals won the finals opener, 88-85, last Sunday at the Jun Duenas Gym in Barangay Central Signal Village, Taguig.
Harvey Subrabas finished with 15 points and a floater in the final seconds of regulation to tie the game at 95 following a 10-1 blast to close the fourth quarter.
