The 7-foot-1 Thon Maker is proving to be a prized prospect for US college teams with his impressive dribbling ability and pure shooting skills leaving basketball scouts across North America drooling.
The player of South Sudanese descent from Australia is currently playing for Orangeville District Secondary School in Ontario, Canada. Maker has participated in offseason basketball leagues with the Fab 48 being the recent tournament, where he showcased his potential.
His stock was all the more boosted when a video from BallIsLife.com showed Maker pulling off a mean 'ankle breaker' with his killer crossover and step-back three against fellow five-star recruit Edrice Adebayo.
The 2016 high school batch is loaded with talent that includes our very own UCLA-bound Kobe Paras, but Maker's Kevin Durant-like skills steal the thunder from other players headed for college.
