DUBAI Basketball got off to a flying start in its Euroleague debut, taking down Partizan, 89-76, early Wednesday (Manila time) at Coca-Cola Arena.
It's a triumphant start for the United Arab Emirates-based team, as it made history being the first non-Israeli team outside Europe to play in the top-tier professional league in the continent.

Filipino import Thirdy Ravena was not deployed in the game, as he took a backseat to Davis Bertans who led the way with 20 points on 5-of-7 shooting to go with four assists and three rebounds.
Dzanan Musa chimed in 19 points, five assists, and four boards; Mfiondu Kabengele scored 15 points and five rebounds; and Filip Petrusev added 14 points and eight boards for Dubai.
This is the first of a five-year wildcard participation for Dubai Basketball, lasting until the 2029-30 season, as they test their mettle against some of the top European clubs led by defending champions Fenerbahce Beko of Turkiye.
Tyrique Jones paced Partizan with 13 points and six rebounds, as Jabari Parker only had 11 points and four boards in the loss.
