THE Generals captured the World Balance 3x3 Streetball League on Saturday after beating Underground, 21-7, in the final at the Trinoma Activity Center.
Sevillano is MVP
Jerico Sevillano was named tournament MVP, with Johnmar Sapico, Joewelle Soriano, and Roque Escoce also delivering for Paranaque City-based Generals team.
Sevillano, Sapico, Soriano, and Escoce claimed the top prize of P100,000 cash prize and P50,000 worth of World Balance gift certificates.
Sevillano had eight points and four rebounds in the championship game of the one-day league.
Sevillano was joined in the Mythical Five by Rengie Usi of Underground, John Cristopher Samson of The Android Show, Frian Sulapas of Sulapas Bros, and Eugene Rhobin Caliso of Eudix. They each won P5,000 worth of gift certificates from World Balance.
A total of 32 teams joined the competition with World Balance ambassador Nards Pinto of Barangay Ginebra also gracing the event.
