SUNDAY Salvacion tallied 27 points as Mighty Sports overcame a gallant stand by Team San Ildefonso on its home floor, 110-105, on Friday in the 2017 Republica Cup commercial division at the San Ildefonso Municipal Gymnasium in Bulacan.
Bernson Franco had 21 points, while Joseph Nalos added added 17 points for Mighty Sports, which picked up its third win in four outings.
Salvacion, Franco, and Nalos converted crucial shots in the fourth quarter as Moghty keept its slim lead until the final buzzer, taking second spot in the team standings of the six-team tournament.
Adrian Celada scored 26 points for San Ildefonso, which fell to 0-4.
