CAMEROONIAN center Redoh Fabien scored 26 points as Naascu team St. Clare College won its first game at the expense of the Philippine Under-18 national team, 111-99, on Wednesday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at The Arena in San Juan.
Colly Bolos had 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Marte Gil also scored 17 as the Saints won on their third attempt.

“Sabi ko lang sa kanila, play hard on defense. Nagawa namin. Pero I give credit to RP Youth. Napakagaling ng mga bata,” said St. Clare coach Gino Manansala.
The Philippine youth team, coming off a title conquest in the Seaba Under-18 Championship in Malaysia, was leading 57-53 at the half before losing control of the game.
Andrei Caracut of San Beda had 22 points while Thirdy Ravena of Ateneo had 18 points for the Nationals, who are still without a win in three games in the preseason tournament.
