MERALCO will likely keep its first EASL win of the season over Taoyuan Pauian Pilots that was placed under protest by the Taiwanese side.
But the Bolts won't get away scot-free.
The EASL has yet to release an official statement on the matter but sources said a sanction will be meted to the Bolts but not in the form of the game being forfeited.

The Bolts beat the Pilots, 85-76, in a November 8 game in Ilagan, Isabela that saw four imports in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Ismael Romero, Sina Vahedi, and Ange Kouame playing at the same time during one stretch of the second quarter in violation of the rules.
SPIN.ph learned that naturalized players are still classified as imports by the league. A minimum of two locals should be on the court at a time.

With the Bolts winning over the Macau Black Bears, 92-74, last Saturday, Meralco now has a 2-2 record, which will stand.
